The area that we live in is unique in London offering history, beauty and nature within a suburban location.
In all, there are over 320 houses and 66 flats on the Estate, which was created in the 1930s. At the same time, the Canons Park Estate Association (now Canons Park Estate Limited) was formed to maintain the trees, lakes and grass verges that formed the surplus lands left over after the area was divided up for housing, having originally formed part of the huge estate of the first Duke of Chandos, in the 18th century.
Canons Drive, with its magnificent avenue of Wellingtonia trees, provides a beautiful backdrop to a number of locally-listed "Arts and Crafts" or "black and white" Tudor-style houses, which also feature in the small closes and side roads that lead off it. Our two lakes, which include the Seven Acre Lake (private, and surrounded by houses) and the Basin Lake on Canons Drive - for which we allow access to the general public - provide an opportunity for Residents and visitors alike to enjoy nature first hand, in a setting that is forever changing from season to season.
We hope you enjoy finding out more about the Estate by navigating this site. However, if you have any further questions, or need to contact us for any reason, please feel free to do so.
